Living in Syracuse: A Local Agent's Take

Syracuse is where I bought my first home as a college student near Syracuse University, and it's still where I do much of my work today. The city offers a wide range of neighborhoods, from historic homes in Strathmore and Sedgwick to Westhill, Eastwood, Tipperary Hill and the University Hill area.

I work with first-time buyers, families, out-of-state buyers and a lot of investors in the city. Multi-family homes and student rentals near Syracuse University and the medical centers are a big part of the market, and I help investors look closely at rents, repairs and returns before they buy.

Every Syracuse neighborhood has its own character, housing stock and price point, so I spend time with buyers figuring out which areas fit their lifestyle and budget. I also pull the actual tax figures for every home we look at so there are no surprises.

The city is changing too, with major projects like the I-81 community grid reshaping how people move through Syracuse. Staying on top of those changes helps my clients make smart long-term decisions.
